The IFAA Hunter and Field courses are an internationally recognised format; no matter where in the world you shoot one it will conform to the same criteria. This is important to competitive archers for consistency when shooting at another club or overseas.

  • 14 Targets, marked distances
  • Roundel targets, fixed to bales:
    • Hunter – black with white centre
    • Field – black and white, with a black centre
  • Three scoring zones plus centre “x”
  • Shoot FOUR arrows per target, each scores equally
  • Distances:
    • Hunter – up to 70 yards
    • Field – up to 80 yards
  • Does NOT qualify for Badges or Hearts competition
  • Shoot off distance peg according to grade
